The L293D Motor Shield is equipped
with dual L293D motor drivers and a 74HC595 shift register. This allows the
shield to drive 2 Servo Motors or 2 Stepper Motors or 4 full bridge DC Motors
and up to 8 half-bridge drivers. The L293D is compatible with the Arduino Uno
R3 and Arduino Mega 2560.
• 2 interface for 5V Servo connected to
the Arduino’s high-resolution dedicated timer resulting in no jitter.

to 4 bi-directional DC motors with individual 8-bit speed selection.
