This Tactile
Push Button Switch is widely used as a standard input “button” on electronic
projects. These tactile Push Buttons work best when you mount them on PCB but
you can also use them on a solderless breadboard for temporary connections
while prototyping. The pins are normally open (disconnected) and when the
button is pressed they are momentarily closed and complete the circuit. The top
of the switch is such that, the cap can be easily fitted onto it. Also, the cap
has a locking mechanism on top of the switch, so, you do not have to worry
about it easily coming out or falling off the switch.
