The Raspberry
Pi Touch Display 2 - 10" is the largest display in the range
from Raspberry Pi, with 7" and 5" options
also available.
It's
a multi-touch, 10.1" 1200x1920 panel ideal for adding a large,
interactive display to your Raspberry Pi projects. Unlike the smaller versions
in the range, it's compatible with Raspberry Pi 5 and Compute Modules*
only.
Raspberry
Pi OS provides touchscreen drivers with support for ten-finger touch and
an on-screen keyboard, giving you full functionality without the need to
connect a keyboard or mouse (although the Raspberry Pi Keyboard
& Mouse is available if you prefer them!). The display defaults to
portrait but can be rotated easily in software.
Only
two connections are required to connect the display to your Raspberry Pi: power
from the GPIO port, and a ribbon cable that connects to the DSI port to your
Raspberry Pi. Two ribbon cables are included for attaching to your Raspberry
Pi, along with a power cable to connect it to the GPIO pins, and eight M2.5
mounting screws.
Want
to use a HAT whilst powering the display? The power cable would usually
get in the way of your GPIO pins, but we have a handy power breakout that
powers the display via USB, keeping your GPIO pins free!
*Compute
Modules do not feature a physical DSI port. An IO board with DSI
connection is required.

Features:
Not
compatible with Pi 1-4 due to the 10" display using all four DSI lanes,
requiring the narrower, but higher-bandwidth, ribbon cable and the newer
display connector found only on Raspberry Pi 5 and the Compute Module IO
boards.
